Dr. Asha Khanna is a zoologist and toxicologist with 39 years of teaching and research experience as Professor of Zoology at Government colleges in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Since her retirement in 2009, she has directed the AVIKA Research Foundation, a private registered research laboratory in Jabalpur, where she continues to lead a program of research on cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and antiproliferative effects of plant extracts, and to mentor doctoral students.

Her work has produced 64 publications (141 citations), and she has supervised more than ten students to successful Ph.D. completion.

    Dr. Khanna has supervised 10+ students to successful completion of Ph.D. degrees in Zoology/Biotechnology, in areas including cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and plant-based antiproliferative research.
