A tradition of mentorship

Over more than four decades, Dr. Khanna has supervised 10+ students to successful completion of Ph.D. degrees in Zoology and Biotechnology — in areas including cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and plant-based antiproliferative research. At AVIKA Research Foundation, that mentorship continues in a small, focused lab setting where students work closely with Dr. Khanna on active research projects.

Hands-on research training

Students learn core techniques directly — MTT assay, Comet assay, Annexin V apoptosis detection, chromosomal aberration and micronucleus assays, and more.

As an independent lab, AVIKA offers a small cohort size, meaning direct, sustained guidance from Dr. Khanna throughout the doctoral research process.
